Other than Ida dumping 4 days of rain on us, our annual November trip to Havana went off without a hitch. Friday morning we always tour a factory and this year we went back to the H Upmann factory, one of Cuba’ most modern cigar production facilities. The place was a beehive of activity as most Havana cigar factories usually are, but we spent quality time viewing most areas of cigar manufacturing.
But some of our biggest laughs and most enjoyable moments were enjoying cigars in my favorite haunts, including the VIP room at Partagas, the main bar in Club Havana, and the patio at the national Hotel.
November 2010 is only a year away.
