March 3 to 8 saw us attend the first Pro Cigar Festival in Santiago DR. Organized by the major tobacco growers and cigar manufacturers in Dominican Republic, the event featured some of the most detailed and best presented tours and seminars in which we have ever participated. The quality of DR tobacco growing and cigar production is second to none. And each lunch and dinner was “Gala” in terms of food, wine and DR cultural traditions. Unlimited Macanudo Vintage and Davidoff Millennium cigars were the icing on a great trip.
