What is Vein?
A Vein in a tobacco leaf is the central rib or the smaller veins that run through the leaf, providing structure and nutrients to the plant. While veins are a natural part of tobacco leaves, large or prominent veins can affect the burn and appearance of a cigar. High-quality cigar wrappers are typically smooth and free of large veins, which ensures an even burn and a more refined look. Veins in the filler and binder do not significantly impact the smoking experience, but the presence of veins in the wrapper can lead to an uneven burn or draw.
